Welcome to Leticia's love of travel

Travel to me is about connecting to the world, it's cultural, and people. I mostly live the motto of  "live as the locals" while seeing tourist destinations! I go to local shops, use public transportation, and meet locals! I hope you enjoy this blog! One of the first images of this blog is the image from the Gibralfaro Castle, part of the Alcazaba fortress in Malaga, Andalucia, Spain. The Alcazaba is an 11th century Muslim fortress. I as a young child, in San Jose CA, born of Mexican parents, I dreamed of visiting Andalucia. I was drawn to it as I somehow sense the Moorish, Jewish and Christian Legacy brought from Spain to the new world, to Mexico. It was ingrained in my DNA and soul! I was finally able to go in 2023!  The desire to visit Andalucia as a child, is what has started my wanderlust. I hope to keep this child-like wonder and share with you the best of my travels!
